I've been trying to set up a SVN home server on my Windows XP machine to allow remote access from the internet. Currently, I'm using Visual SVN Server and I'm using port 8080 (which was forwarded in my router).
I've also installed TortoiseSVN , and set up a NO-IP account so that my dynamic IP is update and can be accessed via mysite.no-ip.org.
If I try to checkout my repository using my IP, as in http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:8080/svn/repo, it works correctly. However, if I try the same using my NO-IP DNS, as in http://mysite.no-ip.org/svn/repo or http://mysite.no-ip.org:8080/svn/repo, Tortoise returns the following error:
"Unable to connect to a repository at URL 'http://mysite.no-ip.org/svn/repo'
The OPTIONS request returned invalid XML in the response : XML parse error at
line 1: no element found (http://mysite.no-ip.org/svn/repo)"
If I type http://mysite.no-ip.org/svn/repo on my web browser, my repository files are shown correctly.
What could possibly be wrong ?
Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.
