I have a major issue with subversion. I installed apache2 on my ubuntu 11.10 and the newest version of svn server. I created two accounts and everything works fine in my local area network. I can commit/checkout over http without any problems. However, my friends who are not in my LAN have a problems while committing or checkingout. They can connect to the Repository, they can see folder structures but when they try to commit or checkout their svn clients hangs (it hangs always in the middle or the end of operation). It happens when project has many files and folders. As I mentioned I have the newest version of svn server. I will be gratefull for any help.
Ok the problem was my MTU. I set it to the value 1090 on my server and now it works.
