Subversion / CVS Admin

WANdisco is looking for an SCM expert with strong communication skills to join our team in San Ramon, CA and take on the following responsibilities:

  • Provide Subversion and CVS expertise to our pre-sales and customer support teams.
  • Assist our development team with the design and QA of our products from the perspective of Subversion and CVS users and administrators.
  • Assist our customer support team in resolving Subversion and CVS related product bugs.
  • Present our solutions to customers from a Subversion/CVS perspective.
  • Assist customers with their Subversion/CVS implementations in conjunction with their implementation of WANdisco's solutions
Requirements: 
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience administering Subversion and CVS repositories, including the ability to write, deploy and debug triggers.
  • Strong knowledge of Apache in the context of its use with Subversion.
  • LDAP/Active Directory knowledge a plus.
  • Working knowledge of UNIX, Linux and Windows operating systems.
  • Java/J2EE background
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Some travel required.

Knowledge of ClearCase and/or Perforce preferred but not required.
